The Portico Cafe Competes for 25K at Fast Pitch 2018

The Portico is training for a Fast Pitch competition. Join us Oct. 25 and root for The Portico in the Fast Pitch audience!  Our organization is like many non-profits and social enterprises who struggle with balancing the never-ending need to raise money, with improving their operational effectiveness.

We are working hard to become sustainable. Social Venture Partners’ mentorship program and Fast Pitch competition provide a fun and collaborative environment for non-profits to become more financially sustainable.

Each year, in conjunction with local colleges and universities, Fast Pitch participants benefit from an expert-led, six-week accelerator program designed to quickly boost their ability to achieve social enterprise revenue streams and become less dependent upon shrinking governmental and private grants.

Each year Fast Pitch awards $60K in social enterprise funding. The Portico and our social enterprise, The Portico Cafe, has a great chance to win one of the top prizes.
