Art Expressions
Art Expressions is an open studio held every Friday at 12:00 pm. Participants are encouraged to create art in whatever way helps them to reflect and express themselves. All supplies are provided and an art therapist is present at every session. There is no cost to participate and everyone is welcome.
Art and Open Mic Nights
The Portico and Joe’s Art Time host regular art and open mic nights free to the community. These events are a time for us to come together in celebration of creativity. We switch out the art hanging in the cafe and community hall and hear songs, poetry, comedy, and more from members of our community. Murals and Other Campus Displays
All around our campus you’ll find murals, framed pieces, and of course our Homeless Jesus statue. Art is part of our DNA, and just as members of our community express themselves through the artwork they create, we express our values and mission through the art that’s displayed all around The Portico.
