A PLACE
Located at 1001 N. Florida Avenue in the heart of downtown Tampa, The Portico is home to The Portico Cafe, a historic chapel, a contemporary coworking space, several meeting rooms, and a beautiful community hall - all places where the Tampa community gathers to impact our city and our world.
A PEOPLE
At The Portico, everyone is welcome. Our community is made up of dreamers, change-makers, people in recovery, new and long-time followers of Jesus, skeptics, agnostics, artists, leaders, and many, many more. The Portico is a diverse, multicultural community with people of many different faith backgrounds, races, ages, and socioeconomic statuses. At our table, there is a seat for everyone.
A MOVEMENT
The Portico impacts Tampa and the world through conversation, connection, and community change. Our justice initiatives, care for the homeless community, collaboration with partner organizations, missional cafe, and opportunities for connection between groups that don't often interact are where this mission is realized.
OUR COFFEE STORY
The Portico Cafe offers people transitioning out of homelessness, addiction and incarceration opportunities for job training, employment and safe affordable housing.
