This time of year is filled with so much hope, nostalgia and promise.
It is a joy to see children grow to be teens and mark such milestones as prom, graduation and even some collegiate athlete signing days.
There is an energy in the air. It is a familiar vibe that calls on us to reminisce about our last days of high school and all the excitement that filled our bellies.
It is a power that fuels the next phase of young adulthood.
It is a force for good.
A Force for Good

That positive energy is what drives the mission of The Portico Cafe, a social enterprise that bridges people transitioning from homelessness, addiction, and incarceration to job training, employment, and connections to safe, affordable housing.

As great of a challenge it may seem for some, it is a task worth undertaking. We accomplish our mission every time someone makes the choice to simply show up.

“Luminous beings we are,” and together we harness the power to light a multitude of paths to a promising future.

During this season of celebration and promise, we thank you for being the force for good in every small stride we make in our mission.
