ABOUT THE ART | Black Art Matters Collective
This Black Art Matters (BAM) Tampa collective will flood The Portico with art, culture, representation and history as topics addressed through talks by noted artists, curators, and performers creating, thinking and writing from the heart of the perspective of the Black diaspora.
The BAM series presents new art and old faves of The Portico art spaces. Current artists include:

For many years Jasey Soulz has hosted open mic events in the Tampa Bay area– most notably at the Bamboozle Tea Lounge in downtown. A talented performer himself, Jasey has also co-hosted and judged several local talent shows within the New York metropolitan area.
