SUNDAY BREAKFAST

Every Sunday morning at The Portico, we offer a hot, welcoming breakfast to neighbors experiencing hunger or homelessness in our community hall. In partnership with Metropolitan Ministries and a devoted team of volunteers, we serve 150–200 friends with dignity and care — not from a line, but seated at tables where everyone is seen and valued.

This breakfast is about more than food. It’s about relationship, respect, and belonging. We believe that “getting knees under tables” transforms lives — one conversation, one shared smile, one real connection at a time. Volunteers don’t just serve meals — they sit with our guests, breaking bread and building community together.
