ABOUT THE ART | Recovery with Art Therapy
University of Tampa graduate students and BA art therapy students collaborate to produce an art show with those who are in recovery from addiction. Under the direction of Dr. Joe Scarce, this art therapy program is a big part of the healing process for those in treatment.
These are folks in recovery, some were homeless and are making their way to sober living homes. Some folks will provide stories of recovery and discuss how the used their artwork for coping and encouragement to remain sober. This will be an inspirational evening for all.
EVENT HOST | Jasey Soulz
For many years Jasey Soulz has hosted open mic events in the Tampa Bay area– most notably at the Bamboozle Tea Lounge in downtown. A talented performer himself, Jasey has also co-hosted and judged several local talent shows within the New York metropolitan area.
This event is free and open to the public.
