As the pace of life quickens with the approach of the holidays, it’s important to take a respite from the busyness of life. At The Portico, we value the benefits of sitting in silence in community; we weave the practice of silent meditation in most of the things we do. We teach and practice contemplation, centering prayer, yoga and a variety of different methods. All traditions are welcome.
Meditation Tuesdays and Thursdays: Refresh your soul with silent meditation, offered in the Chapel at 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then, if you choose, join in the casual weekly spiritual discussion following.
Yoga Tuesday Evenings: Join us for a gentle yoga class in our beautiful brand new Community Hall, 6 p.m. every Tuesday. All, including children, are welcome.
