A PROVACATIVE VISUAL STREET ART EXPERIENCE
GatsbyNotArt is an artist, who like all of us, is human.
He is not perfect and has his own virtues and frailties. He has his own experiences and story with mental health, addiction, religion and law enforcement via the so-called justice system.
Gatsby reflects his own experience through his art and to a large extent has used it to alleviate traumas, his own and others.
Street art is a form of artwork that is displayed in public on surrounding buildings, on streets, trains, and on other publicly viewed surfaces.
Many instances come in the form of guerrilla art, which is intended to make a personal statement about the society that the artist lives within.
The work has moved from the beginnings of graffiti and vandalism to new modes where artists work to bring messages, or just beauty, to an audience.
RSVPs help us plan for a good experience. They are not required but greatly appreciated!
