Your Event at The Portico
We welcome community groups to our gathering spaces. Our historic Chapel has been renovated and is available for small weddings and other gatherings of up to 70 guests. The Portico Community Hall can accommodate up to 400 guests.

The Portico has hosted special events including intimate speaking events, benefit concerts, service projects and the Tampa Bay Master Chorale’s Big Sing.
Meditation Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays
Refresh your soul with silent meditation, offered in the Chapel at 12:15 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and 5 p.m. Sundays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays you may join in the casual weekly spiritual discussion following.
Porch Parties
Held on the fourth Sunday of each month, our Porch Party is a community potluck dinner in conjunction with our regular worship service. Join us!
Open Mic Night
The Portico Cafe hosts an Open Mic Night on the fourth Friday of each month. Plan to attend and perhaps participate from 6-9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 1001 N. Florida Ave., Tampa. Each performer gets a 10-minute set. Click here to sign up.
